Cozy Apt & Balcony | Near Zurich Airport

Positive: Location. Negative: Unfortunately, our stay at this property was disappointing. We stayed in Apartment No. 2 on the third floor. During our stay, renovation works involving heavy drilling with a hammer drill were taking place on the second floor directly below us, causing constant noise and disturbance inside the apartment. There was no information at all in the listing about any renovation or construction works before booking. After we reported the issue, the host stated that this information had been included in the listing, but even after checking the listing again, we were unable to find any mention of renovation works. This was very misleading and significantly affected our overall experience and comfort. In addition, the cleanliness of the apartment was below expectations. We found other people’s hair in the bed and on the table, which gave the impression that the apartment had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. The host offered relocation to another apartment after check-in, but this would have required additional time, transportation, packing and unpacking, and changes to our plans after a long journey. We contacted both the host and Booking.com regarding these issues during and after the stay. While Booking.com customer support responded professionally, the overall accommodation experience did not meet the expected standard.
