Spacious 2BR Apt in Zurich, 10 Mins Center/Airport

Average, not family friendly. Positive: 1. Host is fast to respond when I raise issues and allowed us to have early check in. 2. Location is very near the Oerlikon Train station. Less than 5mins walk. And it’s two stations to the airport. Hence it is very convenient. Negative: 1. There is no lift to the apartment. So if you have a couple of luggages, it’s going to be inconvenient. I did ask the host if there’s lift before booking and told there was but unfortunately there isn’t any. 2. It’s above restaurant and pub, so it was not quiet even late at night. Nonetheless, there’s a halal restaurant that do take aways below the apartment and it closes till late (around 2am). 3. June is summer and it’s hot. No air condition. Host provided 2 fans. Not enough but better than nothing. There is no ceiling light in one of the bedroom and the living rooms. Only side lamps were given. So not well lit when you need the lights.

Positive: The apartments were nice, clean and comfortable. Close to the train and tram station, convenient to use the public transport to the airport an city Negative: No lift. Our apartment were on the 3rd and 4th floor, and we have use the stairs. Inconvenient since we have luggages.

Positive: The apartment was big and comfortable for us, a group of 5 adults. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and there was a washer/dryer. Negative: There is no lift in the building and our apartment was on 3rd floor. The pubs on ground floor can be noisy through the night.

We had a wonderful stay in Zurich and really enjoyed the apartment. The location was excellent, the rooms were well laid out, and everything was clean, new, and modern. We felt very comfortable throughout our visit. The only thing we missed was a mirror outside the bathroom, but overall we can highly recommend this place!

Positive: The apartment is modern and clean. Location is close to the train station. The bed is comfortable. Negative: In general, everything is pretty nice but missing some consumables. We were with 5 and stayed for 2 nights. There is a coffee machine but only 4 capsules. (The cups are also too big for the coffee machine). Only 3 rolls of toilet paper. It would also be nice if there is a cut board and a drying rack.
